"Fortify the Weave of the World" is an one-minute animation crafted with the aspiration of amplifying people's consciousness regarding the paramount significance of collectively achieving the SDGs. Through vibrant visuals and a succinct yet powerful narrative, this animation aims to ignite a sense of responsibility within viewers, emphasizing the interconnectedness of our actions and the profound impact they can collectively wield in realizing these crucial global objectives. It seeks to inspire engagement and mobilize individuals worldwide to contribute actively to the pursuit of a sustainable and inclusive future for all.

The assigned topic for me was:

This objective centers on reinforcing the means of implementation and reinvigorating global partnerships for sustainable development. “ Partnerships for the Goal” differs from more concrete goals like “Zero Hunger” or “Quality Education.”
Since the essence of this goal revolves around diverse roles working together to achieve all SDGs, I aimed to convey this notion and elucidate it through an example. Also, I crafted a narrative centered on the core message:

Post establishing the content, I delved into defining my visual style.
Storyboard
I conceptualized a storyboard utilizing the imagery of balls and strings to symbolize roles collaborating harmoniously in weaving a magnificent tapestry.
Look & Feel
I transformed the low-fidelity storyboard into a high-fidelity version, employing a limited palette of four colors to maintain a clean aesthetic.

Animating
As I progressed, I delved into the animation phase, setting each key frame and determining the seamless transition between frames. Incorporating grain texture heightened the visual richness of the scenes.

Crafting a video proved to be a challenging journey. The key lay in interlinking each element to create a cohesive whole, enhancing their collective value. Mastering After Effects presented its own learning curve. Managing assets efficiently is crucial. When creating illustrations, considering their animation and organizing layers streamlined the process, saving valuable time.
This project was an opportunity to improve my After Effects skills. Now, I feel more adept at animating illustrations, unlocking greater creative variety and depth in my work.
