I created the mascot and some collaterals for One-Forty. It's energetic, positive, and warm.
🚀 One-Forty, a non-profit organization that strives to provide education for Southeast Asian migrant workers. Since 2015, we at One-Forty have been focusing our attention on empowering Southeast Asian migrant workers, by helping them acquire practical knowledge and skills throughout their foreign journeys in Taiwan.
[ 💛 What I do at One-Forty? ]
During the ten-month journey of One-Forty, I participated in the production of various design objects, including posting materials, event visuals, mascots, etc. In non-profit organizations, you can try a very diverse design!
[ 💛 What did I learn at One-Forty? ]
I like the core value of put human first in the organization, and I think this is the most important thing I learned as a design intern. I only pursued stunning and beautiful designs in the past, ignoring the reasons behind each design.
At One-Forty, I started to learn from the "why," thinking about the purpose of each design, the user's feelings, the message I want to convey, and whether it conforms to the consistency of the brand vision and cooperates and communicates with partners in various design needs. Voices and suggestions from different backgrounds make every design better together.
[ What is my fa ]
I can always try freely and as I like because every partner here is trusted and supported wholeheartedly. I can bravely try and make mistakes and learn to grow from every experience. Like the brand colors' warm yellow and inclusive blue, One-Forty always exudes a friendly and positive force without reservation. The most precious thing here is people. Every encounter, every exchange of ideas, and every beautiful experience has become the nutrient of design.
